Copyright Date 1886, No Later Dates Or Printings Indicated. Cover Gilt Russian Seal, No Publisher's Seal On Title Page. Covers Bright Dark Blue, No Fading At All, All Spine And Cover Gilt Brilliant, Touch Of Wear At Corners And Top And Bottom Of Spine With A Few Pinpoint Sized Frays Along Edges. Page Block Beginning To Crack Between Title Page And Introduction, Also Between Last Page And First Rear Free Endpaper. Exceptional Condition For This Book, Which Is Usually Found With Considerable Wear. This Edition Is Usually Found With A List Of Three To Six Tolstoy Titles At Front, With Longer Lists Being Later Issues; Also, It Is Almost Always Found With Catalogs At Rear But No Catalog Is Present Here. Small Owner's Name In Ink At Top Of Front Endpaper, One Of The Founders Of The Hope Ranch Colony In Santa Barbara, Signed Circa 1920'S.
