Dwinae Fluvii nova descriptio.
- Map shows the flow of the Northern Dvina River from Yug River and Sukhona River to the White Sea in Russia. Published by a british bookseller Moses Pitt (c. 1639-1697). Pitt bought plates from Johannes Janssonius and added minor changes and square grids to the maps. With a support of the Royal Society he was planning on publishing an elaborate Atlas in twelve volumes, but because of high costs of printing only four volumes were published. As a result of the project Pitt declared bankrupt and was sent to prison for seven years. Repaired short tear in the lower part of the fold, else a fine copy.
