Many of the photos show the family driving early cars and visiting Rhode Island's Crescent Park amusements. The park was started in 1886 and was a hot spot for New Englanders to spend their summers for nearly 100 years. The photos show the fairgrounds and revelers enjoying their time. When they weren't driving their automobiles, which are featured throughout the album, they enjoyed camping, boating, and carousing on the beaches of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. There are also portrait style photographs interspersed throughout along with candids of family and friends including workers at the Wildes' Bakery and a child on a bicycle. A small but interesting collection of photographs following a New England family in the early decades of the 20th century which an emphasis on photographing vehicles. .
