All Quiet On The Western Front
The First UK Printing published by Putnam (UK) in 1929. The BOOK is in Very Good ++ or better condition. Oatmeal cloth with green lettering. Light pushing and toning to the spine ends. Very light toning to the text-block and page edges. Mild offsetting to the end-papers. Minor marking of an old tape remnant to the upper corners of the first and last end-papers. Free from inscriptions and erasures. Top-stain has faded. The correct first issue WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good++ condition. Edge-wear in places, more-so to the upper spine with a little loss at the latter (see images). White lettering to spine is only ever so slightly toned. A few old tape remnants on the verso which do not show through to the front. The wrapper has not undergone any restoration and is well preserved for its age. It looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover. The classic WW1 title which has become increasingly scarce to find in collectible condition. Ashtonrarebooks welcomes direct contact.
