Colour frontispiece of the author, 23 colour plates from photographs by Percy Hennell, 8 three-colour maps and decorations by Asgeir Scott; title page printed in red & black. Superficial abrasion on back cover, presentation inscription on a preliminary blank. An excellent copy. First edition, second printing. A handsomely bound copy.
