London Longman 1809 - First London edition. 2 volumes in 1, 8vo,xx, 321; xii, 385pp., 3 pages of ads at end of each volume, engraved folding map, contemporary half calf, marbled boards, green morocco label, light wear, an excellent copy. This translation by Richard Alsop and William Shaler was apparently a copy of the American edition of the preceding year, with a few alterations and some additions, but without any acknowledgment of the American original.
