Framed Autographed Letter Signed
Kyoto, 1945. unbound. 1 page on "message" paper from the Miyako Hotel in Kyoto, Japan, 7.5 x 5 inches, November 8, 1968 -- an apology for not being able to meet up with friends, in full: "Dreadfully sorry but I must go back to Tokyo this evening. I'll be back in the evening of the 11th and will phone you here then. Hope you enjoy Kyoto. Best regards. Isamu Noguchi." Several creases and tiny smudges, but still in very good(-) condition. Float-mounted beside a 7.5 x 5.5-inch photo of Noguchi posing in shadowed profile with one of his sculptures. Matted in light gray and set in a custom black frame measuring 15 x 18.5 inches. American artist and landscape architect.
