In publisher's green cloth with colour titles / pictorial design to spine and upper board. Light browning throughout; wear to edges. Good overall. First published in French as 'Maitre du Monde' in 1904, 'The Master of the World' is a sequel to 'Robur the Conqueror' and Verne's penultimate finished novel. The 1961 film of the same title staring Charles Bronson and Vincent Price was loosely based on the plot of both books.
