Profusely illustrated throughout. Small tear to cover of issue no. 1, some minor soiling. Sm. 4to. Leather-backed boards, raised spine, original wrpps. bound in. Paris (Hachette et Cie) 1908-1909. The cover of each issue of Rions! displays a colorful cartoon-type drawing, often with a caption describing the scene. Artistic and literary contributors to the journal include Henry Mirande, Hugues Delorme, Abel Faivre, René Bull, Daniel de Losques, Tristan Bernard, Raymond de la Nézière, Ricardo Florès, Jean Drault, Eugene Chavette, Eugène Cadel, René Fauchois, Joseph Hémard, Charles Monselet, Francisque Poulbot, Albert Guillaume, Félix Lorioux, and many others. As of August 2016, WorldCat locates only two holdings in North American institutions.
