Later full calf by Riviere and Son, raised bands, spine in six panels, morocco title label to second panel, remaining panels gilt with volute corner pieces, central floral spray with small roundels and stars surrounding, covers with triple fillet border, double fillet to edges, gilt rolls to inner edges, a.e.g. Small nick to head of upper joint, head of upper joint with small split but holding well, slightly rubbed to extremities. Internally some light browning and foxing, some off setting from engravings, heavy once or twice. Small Selborne library ink stamp to foot of reverse of title and once to bottom margin of text leaf, old booksellers description pasted to ffep, lacks the final advertisement leaf. With twenty-five hand-coloured aquatints and lithographs. Generally attributed to D'Oyly, but Abbey seems to lean toward there being a different author with D'Oyly illustrating.
