A sensational case in which Lord Grey was charged with seducing the under-eighteen sister of his wife, both the prosecution and defense ably handled (the former by George Jeffreys), the verbatim transcript vividly disclosing the case's high emotions. ?Later 3/4 calf over marbled boards, quite rubbed, the joints cracked and spine chipped, title and last leaf quite dusty, margins cut close; usable only.
