Budapest: Ma-csoport Kiadása 1917 - Quarto, wrappers, 48pp. Exceptionally rare publication, the first book of poems by Aladár Komját (né Korach, 1891-1937), who teamed up with Kassák in the MA group in 1915 and exiled with it to Vienna in 1919. Author of Gitár és konfisló, one of the most important MA books. Komját was a self-proclaimed Warrior-Poet, known for his strident Marxist verse but never signed in as a party member, a very affable polyglot. He parted with MA in 1923 to edit the journal Egység which lasted for one year upon which he moved to Berlin and finally Paris. [Attributes: First Edition; Soft Cover]
