With a folding world map and a list of officers serving on Prince Alfred's ship, the H.M.S. Galatea. Alfred was the first prince to visit Australia, India and Hong Kong, and the first member of the royal family to visit New Zealand. With the stamp of the York Subscription Library and a 20th-century bookplate of A.R. Michaelis. Binding rubbed. A very good copy. An extensively illustrated account of a royal visit to the British colonies.
