Collection of 6 vintage black-and-white single weight still photographs from the US release of the 1957 US film, adapted by David Goodis from his own 1953 novel. Duryea and his gang, including Mansfield, rob an emerald necklace from a wealthy widow. The group falls to bickering over what to do with the loot, unaware that they are being pursued by a corrupt cop and his femme fatale partner. Remade in 1971 by Henri Verneuil as "The Burglars," starring Jean-Paul Belmondo, Omar Sharif, and Dyan Cannon. A story set and shot on location in Philadelphia, PA and Atlantic City, NJ. 8 x 10 inches (20 x 25 cm). Slightly curled and Near Fine. Columbia Pictures stamp and tipped on caption to the verso of each photo. Complete collation details available on request.
