Paris: Horizons de France under the artistic direction of De Maximilien Vox, 1930. Softbound. Good- Cover and spine have pulled away from the text block because of dried glue, foil covering od spine has thinned and flaked along the bends. Silver foil wraps with blue cellophane colored circular cut-out on front cover and orange cellophane sheet after last page (no rear cover cut-out however). 44 bw plates. Title page is followed by a four-page essay by Gallatin, followed by an essay on The Gallery of Living Art by Mauny (9 pages). This is followed by 44 full-sheet bw plates. After the plates there is a listing of all the works in the collection, organized alphabetically by artist (60 artists are listed, with detailed listings of their painting(s) in the collection. Very rare. The whole has a distinctive flair to it. Quite restorable.
