Map of the Battle Fronts of Western Russia: Murmansk to Batum.
London: Edward Stanford Ltd., 1941 - Colour-printed map (1147 × 987 mm), dissected into 42 panels and mounted on linen, brown textured cloth to outer faces when folded, the front with printed title label. A little rubbed, light toning, pin-holes to the corners, but overall very good. BL records three issues between 1941-4. Uncommon, COPAC showing just 4 locations: BL, NLS, NLW, and Oxford; National Archives 'site notes a copy at KCL in the Liddell Hart Military Archives [Brookepopham 11/23]; OCLC adds 4 locations in the USA, and the American University of Beirut. Highly detailed map - 1:3,220,177 ; 1 in. = 50.75 miles - covering an area from Finnmark in the North and the Dardanelles in the South, Emden in the West and Stalingrad in the East.
