New Directions, no-date [1947]., New York: - First edition. Edited by Edmund Wilson. Includes uncollected pieces, note-books and unpublished letters from Fitzgerald, and letters to him from Stein, Wharton, Eliot, et al. The first printing with the title page printed in red-brown and black and colophon on page 348 (later printings have title page printed in black only and no colophon page. Very faint thin line of offset on frontend paper, otherwise a very fine book and equally nice dust jacket with only tiny chips at top of spine. The best copy we've handled in many a year.
