London: Leonard and Virginia Woolf at The Hogarth Press,, 1931. Octavo. Original light green cloth, titles to spine gilt. With the dust jacket. With an autograph letter signed tipped-in to the front free endpaper. A couple of faint spots to spine, a little minor foxing to edges, internally fine; an excellent copy in the faintly toned jacket with a few nicks to extremities and a short closed tear to head of front panel. First edition, first impression, with an autograph letter from the author to a Mrs Cazalet (whom we have so far been unable to trace) concerning the book and an invitation to visit: " ... I would indeed love to bring the boys over in the summer holidays ... "
