Leaves: [7 of 8], [1]-59 making a total of 132 pages, colophon is on verso 59, LACKS TITLE PAGE now replaced with a facsimile and LACKS PAGE 9 (B1), collation: [*]8 (-*1), A-G8 (-B1), H4 (-H4), bound in full early vellum, remains of old paper label to spine, no lettering, slight worming to pastedowns and endpapers, upper margins slightly trimmed throughout, no loss of running title, modern bookplate on front endpaper, occasional light spotting mainly to margins, last page trimmed at fore-edge and strengthened, no loss of text, 2 previous pages have outer edges neatly strengthened. A good copy only, defective, lacking title page and 1 leaf of text B1 as noted. Georg Peurbach, (1423 ? 1461) was an Austrian astronomer, mathematician and instrument maker, best known for his streamlined presentation of Ptolemaic Astronomy in the Theoricae Novae Planetarum written in 1454 and firt published in 1472.
