- Oblong atlas (270 x 210mm), with 45 engraved maps by Glot with outline colour - complete as listed. Modern, plastified linen binding, new endpapers, paper lightly browned at the edges. All maps in good condition. First edition of this atlas, in which 41 (of 45) maps depict the situation of ca. 1805, including a world map. Map nr. 14 ( The Netherlands) is entitled ‘La Republique Batave’ as the country was called between 1795 and 1806. In the ‘Table’ the title is changed by hand into ‘Royaume des Pays-Bas’, the official name of the country from June 1806 onwards.B0078.
