Contains extracts from Modjmel-Altevvarykh, from Shah-Nameh Nos, from the work on India by Albyrouny, a short extract from Beladori. The texts are in Arabic and Persian, with their French translation. The editor Reinaud was professor of Arabic at the School of Oriental Languages. The work ends with a "Lettre a M. Reinaud, au sujet des monnaies des rois de Kaboul" (letter to Mr. Reinaud, on the subject of currencies of the Kabul kings) signed by Adrien de Longperier. - Title pages browned; occasional foxing. - Bibliotheca orientalis 717.
