Contemporary mottled sheep, gilt ornaments and lettering pieces to spines, marbled endpapers. Some rubbing to extremities, corners bumped, hinges starting, chipping to head of Volume II, rear joint of that volume starting at foot. Light toning to text, somewhat darker in places, light foxing to a few leaves. Early owner signature to title page of Volume I, interiors otherwise clean. * Fourth edition.
