Later antique style half-leather and marbled boards with gilt lettered labels within raised bands at spine; firm and tight showing no splits or snags and very little if any wear; contents age-toned but clean with no inscriptions and no pen-marks; tiny chip to the lower right corner of the title-page due to wear and a few handling marks to the first couple or so leaves (not excessive); also, p. 396 shows an old document tape like repair measuring a few centimetres (but it's not there to seal any tear since no visible tear is apparent); this copy not from a library and so no such stamps or labels; size: 8vo (225mm x 140mm); collation: pp. xxvii, [1], 403, [53] index; note: pp. 64 and 238 misnumbered 46 and 338 respectively.
