First edition. 8vo. 5 x 7.5 inches approximately, [viii] + Part 1. 120 pp. (text in Latin) + Part 2. 112 pp. (Text in English). Bound in original full calf, professionally rebacked, with spine in compartments and contrasting title label, gilt. Text foxed at first and last gatherings otherwise some offsetting but mostly clean. Small tear to contents page without loss and closed marginal tear to last leaf, repaired with archival tape. Richard Rawlinson FRS (1690 -1755) was an English clergyman and antiquarian, and collector of books and manuscripts, many of which were bequeathed to the Bodleian Library. [Attributes: First Edition]
