Excellent condition. Presented in a black wooden frame with conservation acrylic glazing. Edition of 100. Initialled and dated in pencil lower right by Shrigley, numbered lower left. Although this is an edition of 100, each image has been hand drawn and is therefore unique. David Shrigley is best known for his distinctive drawing style and works that make satirical comments on everyday situations and human interactions. His flat compositions take on the inconsequential, the bizarre, and the disquieting elements of daily life. While drawing is at the centre of his practice, the artist also works across an extensive range of media including sculpture which included a giant thumb on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.
