Printed for Bernard Lintott at the Cross-Keys Between the Two Temple Gates in Fleetstreet, London 1712 - Pp. [8], 322, 321-376, [8[ - adverts, [2], 377-424 (text continuous despite pagination). Engraved frontispiece, contains half-title. Modern, period rebinding in blind-framed full calf, 5 raised bands with gilt and blind compartments, gilt-stamped leather spine label, marbled endpapers. Three previous owner's signatures with dates to front blank, another signature of Anna Hall to B3 or page 5 and again at the final page 424. Occasional light stains to text, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Contains a number of poems by Alexander Pope, including the first printing of "The Rape of the Locke" in two cantos.
