(cgc) The 1675 first edition in French of Grew's first book, The Anatomy of Vegetables Begun, "the first published study of the development of a plant from seed to seed" (LeFanu), which appeared in 1672. In revised form it became the first part of his 1682 Anatomy of Plants, the first textbook on the subject. LeFanu 4.. 1st Edition. Hardcover.
