Some light spotting; marginal water stain to bottom edge of 7 plates. Presentation inscription and pasted in letter, dated 1884, from the translator, John Edward Lee, to Thomas Davidson (1817-1885) [Author of "Monograph of British Fossil Brachiopoda", published by the Palaeontographical Society (1850-1886)]. Tranlated from the German by John Edward Lee. Concerns the fossil bones and prehistoric implements found in the Ojcow caves in Poland, which are now deposited in the Mineralogical Museum of the University of Breslau.
