Worn and rubbed leather boards, the front one attached by the three strings only; the spine, cracked down the hinges, with four raised bands, one maroon label only, lettered in gilt. Internally bookplate to front pastedown, lacking all prior to title page; remaining contents, with 12 plates, clean and tight. Pp, xvi, 267 + (1). Vol 2: Good. Leather boards less rubbed but loss of leather 1 cm x 3 cm on lower front edge. The spine, with five raised bands, maroon label lettered in gilt and green one with the number 2; cracking to hinges but holding firm. Internally bookplate to front pastedown; some browning to endpapers, rest of contents clean and tight. Pp, (6), xi + (1), 280 + (2). 19 plates, Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall [Attributes: Hard Cover]
