The complete 8 issues edited by Winston Churchill. The newspaper resumed as the Morning Post on Friday May 14th. " Churchill viewed the General Stike as a quasi-revolutionary measure. He leapt at the opportunity of editing the British Gazette, an emergency official newspaper which he filled with bombastic and frequently inflamatory propaganda." EB.
