Octavo, original brown cloth with brown and black titles, 130 pp. "Entirely New and Enlarged Edition" of the first significant guide to cocktail and drink mixing, first published in 1862. This edition includes new recipes that were popular in the late nineteenth century. The date 1887 is listed on the copyright page, but this edition is circa 1900, after the 1898 acquisition of Dick & Fitzgerald handbooks by the Behrens Publishing Company. Wear and discoloration to covers along edges, mild staining to rear cover, paper abrasion to text block edge, foxing and bit of staining to endpapers, toning to pages. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
