William Moulton Marston [C. Daly King]
March On!: Facing Life with Courage
N.Y.: Doubleday Doran & Co, 1941. 1st printing stated. Binding tight; pages clean though text block a little wavy; faint foxing to endpapers; blue boards lightly faded; spine sunned with a tiny divot (see photos) and a bit of wear to ends. Ownership signature on front endpaper of psychologist and crime novelist C. Daly King, who co-wrote the 1931 book "Integrative Psychology: A Study of Unit Response" with Marston and Marston's wife Elizabeth Holloway. The author is now best known for creating an early version of the lie detector -- and Wonder Woman. "March On!" is an ambitious self-help book, Marston's final solo work, published five months before Wonder Woman debuted in All Star Comics #8. Startlingly uncommon and never reprinted. Lacking the even scarcer dust jacket. 311 pages. U.S. buyers, please contact me for a possible discount! [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
