Harrison of Paris, 1931. 302/595 COPIES (from an edition of 680 copies) printed on Auvergne handmade paper, 50 line-drawings, some half-page, by Alexander Calder, pp. [v], 127, 4to, original pale blue-grey handmade paper over boards, the front with a design by Calder printed in dark blue, faint foxing overall, untrimmed, red cloth and board chemise with matching board slipcase, both with printed labels, the slipcase lacking bottom and some splitting and rubbing elsewhere,very good. With the Calder-designed Paper Knife, as issued (but often missing). The high point of the Press, exquisitely designed by Monroe Wheeler using the finest materials and with some of Calder's most celebrated illustration work.
