Hardcover. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. A series of plays, all performed in London theatres, bound together in later brown half-calf over marbled paper boards. Rubricated title-pages. Separate pagination; each play with its own copper-plate frontispiece. Miscellaneous contemporary engraving from Lady's Magazine pasted neatly inside front cover. Mild staining to text; some edge toning and loss not affecting images to two of the engravings. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a sound, bright and handsome volume. Love in a Tub frontispiece designed and engraved by du Guernier; Duke of Guise frontispiece by VanderGucht after Gravelot..
