Very Good/One of the great deluxe bird books of the 20th century. First published in 1923, the later edition is in no way inferior to the earlier.. 4 volumes, 33 cm; Titles printed in red and black. 30 photogravure plates, 110 color plates; 120 "duotone" plates, and with halftone illustrations throughout. Bound in 1/4 brick-red cloth over natural linen-covered boards. Effectively unblemished, with no evident wear.
