First, Second and Seventh Printings All three volumes of this complete set are in near fine condition in dark blue cloth covered boards with gilt text on the spines and a facsimile of the President's signature in gilt on the front board. Each volume is small quarto of 9 1/4 by 6 inches. The dust jackets for each book are in very poor condition many of them completely torn through at the folds. What are left have been preserved as well as possible in acetate dust jacket protectors. Each volume is signed and warmly inscribed by President Hoover on the first free end sheet. Volume I is a first printing containing 496 pages including an index. Volume II is a second printing containing 405 pages including an index. Volume III is a seventh printing containing 503 pages including an index. All are illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of the President from a black and white photograph.
