Jumping Jenny
Hodder & Stoughton, London, 1933. First UK Edition. Publisher's light cornflower-blue cloth with black lettering to the front board and spine. Slightly soft spine tips, a bump to the bottom right hand corner of the front board and a small (red) stamp in the middle of the text block on page 77. A VG (or slightly better) copy. In the RARE D/W priced 7/6 net to the spine (as called for). The D/W is creased, darkened to the spine and lightly edge-worn with a couple of tears to the edge of the front flap (neatly repaired on the verso). The joint and flap folds are thinning (through wear) and the D/W is mildly rubbed. Overall the D/W is about VG. The D/W features a black and white study of a hangman's noose suspended from a gibbet. Photographs/scans available upon request. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover; In Dust Jacket]
