Henry Boyd to The Divine Comedy consisting of the Inferno, the Purgatorio and the Paradiso. Dante's Divine Comedy printed and published by A. Strahan, New-Street Square for T. Cadell Jun. & W. Davies, in the Strand, London, 1802. Complete 3 volumes bound into 1 contemporary dark morocco binding. The spine is divided into compartments by double gilt decorative rolls and leather gilt title label, along with tooled gilt ornaments and the editor's authenticity label on backboard. This numbered, limited collectors' edition contains all historical illustrations, maps and additional 19th century color plates.
