Hammersmith: William Morris at the Kelmscott Press, 1893.. Limited edition, one of 500 copies from a total edition of 510. (viii), 216, (2) pp. Publisher's full limp vellum with ribbon ties. Ornately illustrated sectional titles to the first three parts with a decorative initial to the start of the final work. Small section of the original vellum missing on the upper cover neatly restored in a near matching leather, the binding and the contents otherwise bright and fresh. Printed in the press' Golden Type on Flower paper. The book has always been in demand, with Sydney Cockerell stating as far back as 1898 that it was "one of the rarest books issued by the Press' because of its popularity".
