Schlesis. Lande. pp. 1158, [58] - Note: lacks title page and frontis. Geistliches Beth-Opfer: oder: Auserlesene Gebethe pp. 144, [16]. Die Augspurgische Confession pp. 32. 18th century German red-stained vellum tooled in gold (alloy, oxidized) with a central lozenge composed of curls, tulip and other floral tools, fleurons, pomegranate and acorn tools as well as pointill motifs. The lozenge is surrounded by four corner pieces composed of the same tools as the lozenge and the entire design has a dog tooth roll border. The design in repeated on the rear board. The flat spine is tooled in gold repeating the central lozenge, corner pieces and border of the cover design in the same tools; all edges are gilt and gauffered; the endpapers have a block-printed design of flowers, vines, berries leaves, and pointill curls in blue, mauve and brown.
