Title "Xi Ling Quan Jing" in Chinese characters on front cover and "Vue Generale des Tombeaux Imperiaux de Siling a Liang Ko Tchouang" in French cover on back. Spine head and foot slightly worn. Light watermarks on covers. First 12 plates (plate I-IV) slightly worn at the bottom. Last 4 plates worn at the bottom with paper missing on about 9cm x 1.5 cm not affecting the illustration but slightly affect text of the last plate. Front and back hinges crack but holding. Paper slightly worn and rust at staples of last plate. Otherwise in very good condition. Illustrated with 32 plates photographic reproductions, caption in Chinese and French, an extremely scarce work on general view of the imperial tombs of Siling located at Liang Ko Tchouang, including illustrations such as Liang-Ko-Chouang (station, palace. front view, courtyard and garden, pagode Yung-Fou-Se.), Tai-ling (palace, treasury and memorial pavilion, inscriptions, panorama of the 7-arch bridge, path leading to the altar, 7-arch bridge, statues in civil costume, statues in military costume, portico, tomb gate).
