An apparently unpublished manuscript by the leftwing screenwriter, playwright and novelist, Henry Myers (1894-1975), in the form of a spoof six-part lecture series "intended to fill the needs of young Billionaires desirous of carrying on their parents' great work in the art of Accumulation. Its method is one of extreme scientific realism, for the Faculty deems any tendency toward human feeling a mere hindrance to a really earnest Capitalist." The lectures include, Introduction to the Subject. Its Needs and Aims; Why a Capitalist Is Better Than Anyone Else. The Philosophy of Class; Capitalist Magic: Getting Blood out of Turnips; What to Do When the Turnips Run Dry; How to Make Them Like It; What to Do When They Stop Liking It. The Horrible Alternative. Myers' satiric pedagogy lampoons the capitalist class and its ultimate goal of Fascism ("Capitalism's destiny"), which is achieved by building private armies in the form of "Klans and Bunds," splitting the opposition, selecting an American Hitler, and then "doing it." The curriculum concludes with the slogan, "Capitalists of the world, arise!
