Red morocco binding with rich blind-tooling. Spine with five raised bands, blind-tooled fleurons and gilt-lettered title and date. Covers with gilt-tooled coat of arms. Inside covers richly gilt-tooled. All edges gilt. The editio princeps was printed in 1498 by Paffraet in Deventer, the Netherlands. During the first part of the 16th century the work was a great success as a reference classical dictionary. It also was published with the title "Parvum dictionarum poeticum".
