Philip K. Dick
The Man in the High Castle
USA: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1962. First Edition/First Printing with "D36" code on page 239 in the first issue dust jacket with the $3.95 price intact and the 1062 code at bottom of front flap. A near fine book in a very good dust jacket. An outstanding copy of this Hugo Award winning novel which is considered one of the best Science Fiction novels of the 20th century and a classic of speculative fiction. This near fine book is clean, bright, and tight with a crisp binding, bright lettering to the spine, and no markings throughout; moderate foxing is present to the pastedowns, free papers, and page edges (very common for the title), else fine. Housed in a very good Original and completely intact dust jacket that is clean and bright but does show some mild rubbing and creasing to the ends, edges, and corners, one very small puncture to the front panel (very hard to see), and some internal tape repair to the spine and flap ends (unobtrusive externally). Overall, an exceptional copy of this book getting very scarce in collectible condition; not remaindered, not price clipped, not ex-library; in archival protection.
