Spilsbury, 2 volumes, Folio (42x27x5cm each), contemporary full calf bindings with gold lines and blind decorated borders, blind tooled spines with gold tooled lettering labels (later), rebacked with original spine re-used, boards somewhat scuffed, but toned and furbished, later plain endpapers, frontispiece to vol.I lined with hand made paper, very sound binding, occasional offsetting of plates and a very few pages slightly browned, a good clean copy, vol.I portrait frontispiece and 6 plates, vol.II 18 plates Edmondson's career painting coats of arms on coaches led him to his study of heraldry.
