The Greatest Mother in the World
Red Cross, New York, 1917. Original poster. Color lithograph. 27.27 x 20.25 inches. While men signed up to fight at the front, women were encouraged to help the war efforts in supporting roles. This poster reportedly encouraged millions of Americans to join the Red Cross. Created by Alonzo Earl Foringer. This poster in is good condition with minor edge wear and foxing. Original linen backing.
