Salomon Savery (1594-1683) was an engraver from the Dutch artist family Savery. He was born in Amsterdam and died in Haarlem. He travelled to England in 1632. Frans Janszoon Post (1612-1680) was a Dutch painter. He was the first European artist to paint landscapes of the Americas.
