McCarthy, Cormac
The Orchard Keeper
Random House, 1965. Near Fine in a Near Fine dust jacket. Stated "First Edition" on copyright page. The book is Near Fine with just two very minor flaws - a small bump to the base of the spine and one small ~2mm brown spot mostly to the front edge of the text block but in a few cases extending to the front edge of the margin on a few pages. Only affects about 15 pages overall. Otherwise the gilt on the spine is bright, the books is free of foxing or age-toning, the corners are sharp, and the green tint to the top of the text block is unmarked. The dust jacket is also Near Fine. There are a couple of small tears to the top of the spine (visible in the attached photo), some fading to the lettering on the spine, and some mild shelf wear. Overall a stunning copy of McCarthy's first book and rare in this condition. We grade our books conservatively to insure your satisfaction. Additional photos available on request.
