Maschler is a publisher who worked for Jonathan Cape, who discovered and published authors including Ian McEwan and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Title page is Paz?s silhouette of Duchamp?s portrait. A critical artistic study into the work of Marcel Duchamp, the noted French-American painter, whose work is associated with Cubism, Dada, and conceptual art. Illustrated with one colour plate.
