Minor wear around extremities and light loss to label, backing reglued at spine ends, hinges discreetly reinforced. A very good copy. A wonderfully illustrated edition, in the original boards, of Munchausen's imagined adventures, all completely fanciful yet presented as an authentic narrative. This is one of many editions of Munchausen published over the 19th century, always popular with adults and children alike, following its first publication as a chapbook in 1782.
